Leveraging deep expertise in Security, AI, and Digital Identity, we bridge international standardization and real-world implementation to build a trusted digital society.
Contact UsWe need a team of experts who participate in standardization discussions firsthand while accelerating real-world implementation from the private sector
Throughout my career at major consulting firms, system integrators, and government agencies, I have been deeply involved in the standardization and implementation of security and digital identity.
What I have felt most strongly through these experiences is the persistent gap between standardization discussions and real-world deployment. Even when international standards are established, numerous barriers prevent them from being reflected in actual services.
Concusto was founded with the mission of bringing together experts well-versed in international standardization trends — including NIST, eIDAS, FIDO, OpenID Connect/OAuth, and ISO — and channeling that expertise to benefit the private sector and society. We address complex, cross-cutting challenges across three domains: Security, AI, and Digital Identity.
In 2025, while visiting New York, I was struck by the cost of living — ¥3,000 for lunch, ¥1,000 for a cup of coffee. It wasn't simply that prices were high; it was a reflection of Japan's declining economic presence on the global stage.
At the same time, through my work in international standardization for security and digital identity, I had always felt that there were too many barriers between Japan and the rest of the world. Talented individuals and organizations struggle to connect globally. Breaking down these walls, I believed, would be the key to restoring Japan's competitiveness.
And so I decided to start my own company — to become a bridge connecting Japan and the world, grounded in international standards. That resolve led to the founding of Concusto.
Attack methods such as ransomware and supply chain attacks are growing more sophisticated. Organizations urgently need to strengthen their security posture, starting with security-by-design principles in service development.
As generative AI rapidly proliferates, the majority of organizations have yet to establish adequate risk management, ethical guidelines, and usage policies. Designing security for AI systems is a pressing challenge.
As international standardization advances across NIST, eIDAS, FIDO, OpenID Connect/OAuth, and ISO frameworks, implementing these standards within Japan's unique context presents significant challenges. Experts capable of designing trust architectures remain extremely scarce.
We comprehensively strengthen organizational security posture and support the creation of cyber-resilient organizations.
We support the safe and effective adoption of AI technologies — from strategy development through implementation and governance frameworks.
